The YAC winner will perform with the Peoria Symphony Orchestra on April 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM and 11:45 AM at the Peoria Civic Center Theater in the PSO Guild’s Annual Student Concert.
The YAC winner will also perform at the Peoria Symphony Guild Spring Luncheon, at 11:00 AM, May 8, 2024.
Applicants must live and attend school within a 350-mile radius of Peoria, Illinois; pursue a regular schedule of music lessons with a private teacher, and be a student in grades 7–12 as of the date of the Young Artist Competition. See the documents below for the application, audition rules, approved repertoire, and a letter for educators.
The YAC Final Round Location will be Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Illinois Central College at 1 College Dr, East Peoria, IL 61635 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
