Shellie Schwanke
Shellie is a native of central Illinois having grown up in Peoria, attending Kellar Central and Richwoods High School. She also attended Illinois Central College and took music instruction at Bradley University before pursuing her undergraduate degree in Music and Communication at Eureka College.
Shellie served as Director of Alumni Relations at Eureka College for over three decades as well as leading the Ronald W. Reagan Society at Eureka toward the end of her tenure there. Before moving into her role with the PSO, Shellie was the Manager of Membership Services for the McLean County Chamber of Commerce.
Shellie is a longtime resident of Eureka, IL, settling there with her college sweetheart husband and raising her two daughters. Recently, Shellie and her husband, Curt, welcomed their first grandchild into the Schwanke family.
Shellie is passionate about the arts in Central Illinois and feels privileged to serve in her new role with the PSO. She is looking forward to sharing a wonderful 125th season with the Central Illinois Community
