Mr. Roger Garrett has been the principal clarinetist of the Peoria Symphony Orchestra since 1993. A longtime clarinet professor and director of the Illinois Wesleyan University Symphonic Winds, he has received international acclaim for his custom-made clarinet and bass clarinet mouthpieces. He has published several arrangements for clarinet ensembles and band.

Dr. Katherine Lewis has been the principal violist of the Peoria Symphony Orchestra principal since 2006. She is the Associate Professor of Viola at Illinois State University and was elected in 2018 as president of the Illinois chapter of the American String Teachers Association. Dr. Lewis gives recitals, presentations, and master classes at venues throughout the country.
