Join the PSO, WTVP-PBS, and the Jewish Federation of Peoria in an exceptional event to celebrate 20 years of Peoria’s holocaust memorial.

Violins of Hope

The Peoria Symphony Orchestra and WTVP-PBS are collaborating with the Peoria Jewish Federation to host a free musical and educational program featuring restored violins from Holocaust concentration camps. Guest speakers, Avshi Weinstein and Chris Edmonds will tell the stories of these instruments and the amazing people who played them, followed by a performance by Alec Tonno, violin, on the restored instruments. While this event is free, the PSO & WTVP please ask that you pre-register for the event.
