Peoria Symphony Orchestra Presents Titanic Live: A Stunning Multimedia Experience Performed Live to Film

PEORIA, Ill., April 15, 2025 — The Peoria Symphony Orchestra, in collaboration with the Peoria Riverfront Museum and its upcoming exhibition Finding Titanic: The Secret Mission, is proud to present an unforgettable cinematic concert experience: Titanic Live, on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 7:30 PM at the Prairie Home Alliance Theater in the Peoria Civic Center.
This powerful performance brings James Cameron’s 1997 Academy Award®-winning film Titanic to life like never before—with the movie projected on the big screen while the full James Horner score is performed live by the Peoria Symphony Orchestra.
Under the direction of Maestro George Stelluto, this epic presentation features a 92-piece orchestra, a 30- to 50-voice women’s choir, Celtic harpist, and special instrumentation that beautifully recreates the emotional depth of Horner’s unforgettable music. The result is an immersive experience that transcends traditional concert or film-going.
