The YAC winner will perform with the Peoria Symphony Orchestra on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM and 11:45 AM at the Peoria Civic Center Theater in the PSO Guild’s Annual Student Concert.
The YAC winner will also perform at the Peoria Symphony Guild Spring Luncheon on Thursday, May 27, 2026.
Applicants must live and attend school within a 350-mile radius of Peoria, Illinois; pursue a regular schedule of music lessons with a private teacher, and be a student in grades 7–12 as of the date of the Young Artist Competition. See the documents below for the application, audition rules, approved repertoire, and a letter for educators.
The YAC Final Round Location will be Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Illinois Central College at 1 College Dr, East Peoria, IL 61635 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
