In addition to our Curtain Up! A Broadway Matinee concert that is airing on WTVP World 47.3 this Sunday, January 17 at 3:00 PM, the PSO is once again participating in a food drive to benefit the Peoria Area Food Bank on Saturday, January 16, and Sunday, January 17.

Over the past twelve years, Orchestras Feeding America has seen over 370 orchestras from across the country collect and donate more than 530,000 pounds of food. The efforts of these orchestras have helped spread the word about how and why orchestras are so necessary to their communities, beyond providing amazing music.

The PSO has hosted food drives as part of Orchestras Feeding America in the last two years, collecting over 500 pounds of food for the local area. The PSO is hosting a drive-through drop-off of non-perishable food outside of the PSO Office at 101 State Street, Peoria (outside of the WTVP building) at the following dates and times:

Saturday, January 16, 2021
10:00 am — 2:00 pm

Sunday, January 17, 2021
10:00 am — 12:00 pm
